Job Description

The Graphic Designer position works on the development and publishing of key product marketing and sales enablement marketing pieces and communications for the TEGNA digital product line, as well as the TEGNA-wide brand. The materials span across medias and formats including: collateral, digital documents, infographics, worksheets, whitepapers, websites/landing pages, presentations, HTML email, videos and more.  Under the direction of the Senior Digital Designer, the Graphic Designer will work with key marketing staff, Product Managers, Sales Enablement Market Managers, and executive leadership. Communications and marketing materials will be positioned for both internal and external audiences. 

Design Production - Creation of concepts and final designs of marketing and communications materials. (40%)

Production - Edits, revisions and updates to existing materials. (40%)

Illustration - Creative execution of illustrations for the purpose of visual representation of concepts and communications within comprehensive materials. Example illustrations may be: infographics, icons, diagrams and charts. (10%)

Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. (10%) 

Job Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate design concepts, page layouts, illustrations and other materials through a portfolio of work.
• 2+ years experience in development of designs and produce flyers, brochures, infographics and other marketing materials for both print and digital platforms as directed by the Product Marketing Manager and other leadership
• Experience in popular design and illustration programs incuding the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in creating presentations within the Microsoft PowerPoint platform
• Demonstrated experience in document versioning and document repository methodologies
• Experience in development of video wireframes and storyboards is a plus.
• Experiences in development of HTML emails, HTML websites and landing pages and Wordpress is a plus.

•Associates or Bachelors in graphic design or related field. (NOTE: A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the
education listed above.)
